Direct Client Hunting on Fiverr & Upwork Without Creating an Account
Friends, only those who change themselves with time are successful in life. Nowadays many people are learning to rank gigs and get clients by creating accounts on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.
But I will tell you an advanced level trick—direct client hunting on Fiverr, Upwork or any freelance platform without creating any account!
Yes, if you have any skill like digital marketing, social media, guest posting, link building, content writing – anything – then with this strategy you can find clients from those freelancers who have already completed thousands of orders.
This is a practical guide, run step-by-step on a laptop screen. Follow the entire playlist and you are guaranteed to learn something new.

I’m learning by implementing it myself, because real knowledge comes from practice, not theory. Let’s get started!

Step 1: Open Fiverr from Google – Use a New Email
First, go to Google, search for “Fiverr” and open the site.
Important: Don’t use the email you used to create your Fiverr account! Get a new email address that doesn’t have a Fiverr profile attached to it.
Why? Fiverr tracks you – if they see you’re targeting their top freelancers, they can suspend or cancel your account.
Just like I’m doing – I opened Fiverr with this email address, and the “Sign In/Join” option appeared, meaning I didn’t create an account. Perfect!
Step 2: Search for a Keyword for Your Service
Now enter the keyword for your service type in the search bar. For example:
- Do you do guest posting? Search for “guest posting.”
- Link building? “Link building” or “Off-page SEO.”
- Digital marketing? “Social media marketing” or “Content writing.”
I’m focusing on guest posting because it’s easy and in high demand. Search “guest posting world” – boom! 17,000+ profiles will appear.
These are all freelancers who have already completed thousands of orders – meaning they have solid clients!
Pro Tip: Change these keywords according to your skills, rest of the strategy will remain the same.
Step 3: Open Top Profiles – Choose Level 2 or Top Rated Gigs
Only open Level 2, Top Rated Seller profiles in the search results. Skip newbies (Level 1) – they won’t have clients.
I opened 4-5 profiles:
- One person completed over 100 orders – imagine how many clients on one platform!
It takes time, but start from the first page. So many opportunities among 17,000 profiles!

Look at the reviews on each profile – those are clients who have already done guest posting.
Step 4: Extract Client Names from Reviews and Search on Google
Go to the reviews section of each profile. These are people who have provided feedback – just like viewers comment on YouTube.
Copy those names (preferably ones with photos, for easy identification).
Now search for that name on Google:
- LinkedIn, Facebook, website, business – you’ll find them all.
Skip names with numbers, go for those with a proper name and photo.

For example: A review found the “AC Digital” agency from Australia. Googled them – their website, LinkedIn, and Instagram all came out! This agency is buying guest postings for its clients. Perfect target!
Build Strong Skills Before Client Hunting
Just finding clients is not enough. You should also have the skills on the basis of which you will work for clients.
So first improve your skills and then you can move towards client hunting.

Why This Strategy Is a Game-Changer
This strategy is a game-changer because instead of competing with thousands of freelancers, you reach out directly to people who are already paying for services.
You don’t target random people, but instead talk to real buyers who have already invested.
This saves months of time spent ranking gigs and eliminating the need to rely on platforms’ algorithms or commissions.
This method works for every skill, delivers fast results, and helps beginners connect with direct clients without investing in ads or tools.
That’s why this strategy creates not just hopes, but real opportunities.
Focus on Skills First – The Foundation of Success
Knowing where to find a client and having just one skill are two different things.
Just knowing where to find a client is not enough unless you have strong skills.
Therefore, the first focus should be on skills. Learn proper skills, especially IT skills like content writing, SEO, guest posting, digital marketing or any skill in which you can genuinely provide value.
Confidence comes only when the skill is strong.
How to Approach and Pitch Clients Effectively
Now when you have the skill and you also know where to find a client, the next challenge is to talk to the client.
Many people get stuck here because they don’t know how to pitch or they are afraid.
The best way for such people is to avoid hard selling, use simple and friendly language.
Make the client feel that you understand their problem and genuinely want to help, your goal is not just to make money.
Handling Rates and Winning Clients from Competitors
Rates issue is also very common. Most clients are already working with some other freelancer, so they find it a bit difficult to choose someone new.
This is where a smart approach comes in handy.
If a client is offering a price for a service, you can be a little flexible, or you can offer them some extra value for the same price.
This means offering a little more than the features they’re looking for in a gig—better quality, faster delivery, or extra support.
This will make the client feel like they’re getting more for the same or slightly lower price.
This is what compels a client to switch.
Winning a new client isn’t easy, but when you present your skills, communication, and value correctly, things automatically fall in your favor.
This process may seem slow, but in the long term this approach builds real clients, real trust and real income.
The Smart Path to Long-Term Freelance Success
If you want to take online earning or freelancing seriously these days, relying solely on platforms isn’t enough.
Real growth comes when you work on your skills, understand the market, and have the courage to approach clients yourself.
Direct client hunting isn’t a shortcut, but it’s a smart path that sets you apart.
When your skills are strong, your communication is clear, and your approach is honest, clients automatically start trusting you.
Success doesn’t mean getting everything in one day, but rather striving to become a little better every day—both in skills and in thinking.
Learn skills, provide value, and treat the client’s problems as your own—money and long-term clients will automatically follow.

He started his career with freelancing and provided content writing and website designing services on Fiverr from 2022 to 2024. During this time, he experienced firsthand the market’s intense competition, algorithm changes, and inconsistent income.
Honestly, your last article was very helpful regarding client hunting, but I didn’t understand one thing.
What if someone doesn’t want to do cold emailing or direct outreach? Sending messages daily and convincing people isn’t easy. I’m a bit introverted, and I don’t find direct client hunting comfortable.
Are there any platforms where I can get work without chasing clients? Meaning, where clients hire freelancers themselves? If you could provide a detailed guide on this, it would be very helpful.
Besides Fiverr and Upwork, there’s a lot of competition on the platform.
